The transfer window has been open for just three weeks, but early frontrunners are already emerging in the race for summer spending supremacy. Unsurprisingly, Premier League clubs dominate the list, with Liverpool taking an early lead following their blockbuster signing of Florian Wirtz.

The 22-year-old German playmaker joined the Reds in a deal worth a reported €137 million, pushing Liverpool's overall spending this summer to a staggering €166.8 million. And all indications suggest they’re not done yet.

Manchester City and Chelsea round out the top three, having invested heavily as they prepare for another gruelling campaign across domestic and European fronts.

Italy’s Juventus and Atalanta, as well as Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich, also make the top 10 — though the Premier League’s financial might remains the dominant force in the early stages of this summer’s market.
