Georgia - Portugal 0:4

Portugal U21 booked their place in the quarter-finals of UEFA Euro U21 2025 in emphatic fashion, dismantling Georgia U21 with a dominant 4–0 victory to finish top of Group C.

The star of the evening was rising sensation Geovani Kenda. The 18-year-old striker netted a clinical brace and was heavily involved in the build-up to Portugal’s first two goals, underlining his status as one of the tournament’s breakout talents.

Georgia’s hopes were dealt a major blow early on when they went down to ten men in the 5th minute. Portugal capitalized immediately, with Rodrigo Pinheiro scoring the team’s opener — which also happened to be the 500th goal in Portugal U21’s history.

Manager Rui Jorge will be particularly pleased with the defensive performance: Portugal finished the group stage without conceding a single goal, reinforcing their credentials as one of the tournament favourites.
