Manchester City have officially confirmed the signing of Rayan Aït-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers in a deal worth approximately €50 million. The 23-year-old Algerian international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Premier League champions.

Aït-Nouri, who came through the ranks at Angers SCO in France, made his professional debut in 2018 before joining Wolves in 2020. Last season, he enjoyed a breakout campaign, featuring in 37 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.

The versatile left-back has already been registered in City’s squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place from June 15 to July 13. His pace, technical ability, and attacking instincts make him a natural fit for Pep Guardiola's tactical system.

As part of the transfer agreement, Angers are set to receive €11.5 million due to a resale clause included in Aït-Nouri’s original move to Wolves.

This marks another strategic reinforcement for Manchester City as they continue to build depth ahead of a packed 2025–26 season. According to multiple reports, Rayan Cherki could be the next name on City’s radar, with talks progressing steadily.
