Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest footballers of all time, has officially announced his departure from Al Nassr, bringing an end to a historic chapter in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese icon took to Instagram to share a heartfelt farewell following the club’s final game of the season.
“This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all,” wrote CR7, posting a photo in the yellow and blue of the Riyadh-based club. His current contract with Al Nassr is set to expire on June 30.
At 40 years old, Ronaldo continues to defy the odds, finishing the season as the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League with an impressive 24 goals.
