Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Spanish defender

Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Spanish defender Dean Huijsen from AFC Bournemouth, in a move reportedly worth €60 million, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The 20-year-old centre-back has penned a five-year deal with Los Blancos, running from June 1, 2025, through to June 30, 2030. The move marks a significant step forward in Huijsen's already impressive career trajectory.

Despite his young age, Huijsen has already represented the Spain national team and boasts top-flight experience in both the Premier League and Serie A, having previously played for Juventus and AS Roma. Earlier this year, he was nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award.

Bournemouth initially signed Huijsen from Juventus last summer for just €15 million, and he quickly established himself as a key figure. In the 2024/25 campaign, the defender featured in 34 matches, scoring three goals and registering one assist.
