Lamine Yamal

After helping Barcelona seal the La Liga title with a decisive derby win over Espanyol, rising superstar Lamine Yamal delivered a powerful message to fans — promising that the best is yet to come.

“I want to tell the Barcelona fans — this is just the beginning,” Yamal told Barça Universal. “You can never get tired of winning. That idea is stuck in my head. The goal is to achieve my own goals. I want to be myself. I want to write my own story.”

17 and Already in Elite Company

At just 17 years old, Yamal has already collected an impressive haul of silverware. He is now a two-time La Liga champion, and also holds winners’ medals in both the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.

He also celebrated international success last year, lifting the UEFA European Championship with Spain — all before reaching adulthood.

Matching Cristiano’s League Titles — Already

Remarkably, Yamal now has as many La Liga titles as Cristiano Ronaldo, despite being more than two decades younger than the Portuguese icon. While his trophy count is still modest compared to football’s all-time greats, his career arc is pointing sharply upward.
