Barcelona Concede Another Hat-Trick — But Injury Time Heroics Seal Thrilling Win
It was chaos in La Liga as league leaders Barcelona, still visibly fatigued after their Champions League clash in Dortmund, were nearly run off the pitch by a spirited Celta Vigo side.
Borja Iglesias became the second player in a week — after Jamie Bynoe-Gittens — to put three past Marc-André ter Stegen, who once again had a night to forget. The Catalans’ defence looked in disarray, and Xavi's men struggled to cope with the intensity.
But cometh the hour, cometh Raphinha. The Brazilian winger dragged his team back into the match, equalising in the 68th minute before stepping up in added time with nerves of steel. In the eighth minute of stoppage time, after a lengthy VAR review confirmed a foul inside the box, he calmly converted the penalty to complete the comeback.
It was Raphinha’s 15th goal of the season — and perhaps his most important yet — securing a dramatic 4–3 win that keeps Hansi Flick’s title hopes on track.
