Novak Djokovic

Legendary Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic continues to redefine the boundaries of greatness. The world No.5 has officially become the oldest player in history to reach the semifinals of an ATP Masters 1000 tournament.

At 37 years and 309 days old, Djokovic surpassed the previous record held by Roger Federer, who reached the semifinals of the Miami Open in 2019 at the age of 37 years and 235 days.

The record-breaking moment came after Djokovic defeated American Sebastian Korda in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6, securing his 79th career semifinal at a Masters 1000 event — another all-time record.

Next up for Djokovic is a highly anticipated semifinal clash with Bulgarian star Grigor Dimitrov. The match is scheduled to begin at 20:00 CET.

With history already in his pocket, the Serb will now look to book his place in yet another Masters 1000 final.
