Norway have scored nine goals in their first two matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifying rounds

Norway secured their second straight win in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, following up their emphatic 5-0 victory over Moldova with another strong performance — this time in a 3-1 win against Israel.

Despite conceding for the first time in the campaign, the Norwegians showcased their attacking firepower once again. Alexander Sørloth and Erling Haaland both found the net for the second match in a row, taking their individual goal tallies to two apiece.

With this result, Norway now sit firmly atop Group I, while Israel hold on to second place in the standings.
