England Confirms: Cole Palmer Will Not Join National Team
Cole Palmer will not be joining the England squad as he continues medical assessments following a muscle injury.
The Chelsea star missed Sunday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal after picking up the injury during a training session ahead of the match.

Palmer was initially named in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia. However, the Three Lions have now confirmed that he did not report to the national team camp and did not take part in Tuesday’s training session.
"Cole Palmer remains with Chelsea for further assessment after sustaining an injury during training ahead of his club’s match against Arsenal last Sunday," read an official statement from the England camp.
