Inter Eye Roma’s Leading Goalscorer
An intriguing summer transfer deal could be on the horizon between AS Roma and Inter Milan, potentially involving Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk and central midfielder Davide Frattesi.
According to AsRomaLive, the 25-year-old Frattesi is a product of Roma’s youth system but never made a senior appearance for the Giallorossi. He began his professional career at Sassuolo and had multiple loan spells before joining Inter in 2024. A regular Italy international, Frattesi is also remembered by Ukrainian fans for his two-goal performance against their national team in September 2023.
Meanwhile, despite being Roma’s top scorer, Dovbyk has faced criticism from the press and even from head coach Claudio Ranieri. Consequently, the rumored swap deal involving Frattesi appears entirely plausible—especially as Roma have shown a long-standing desire to bring their academy graduate back to the Stadio Olimpico.
