The match between Barcelona and Osasuna, originally scheduled for Saturday evening, was called off just 20 minutes before kickoff. The cancellation followed the sudden passing of the club's first-team doctor, Carlos Minarro Garcia.

Barcelona expressed deep sorrow in an official statement: "The match has been postponed to a later date. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones."

The club president, Joan Laporta, shared his thoughts on the tragic loss: "This is an immense loss. Carlos was always by the team’s side, looking after the players, coaches, and everyone at the club. He was an outstanding professional and an extraordinary person. We are in shock."

Osasuna also expressed their condolences: "We share in the grief and send our warm thoughts to his family, Barcelona, and its fans. May he rest in peace."

The players were deeply shaken by the news, and the match was postponed out of respect for the memory of the doctor.
