Florentino Pérez Sets €40 Million Price Tag for Lunin
According to Spanish media, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is open to considering a transfer for Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin in the summer of 2025, provided a suitable offer is made. Reports suggest that Real Madrid values Lunin at €40 million, with Manchester City emerging as the primary suitor.
City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be personally interested in Lunin, viewing him as a worthy replacement for Ederson, who is reportedly considering a move to Saudi Arabia. However, no formal offer has been made by City yet. The only concrete interest so far has come from FC Porto, who were willing to pay only half of Real's asking price—€20 million.
This season, Lunin has made nine appearances for Real Madrid, conceding 11 goals and keeping four clean sheets. He also recorded an assist, becoming the first Real Madrid goalkeeper in over 30 years to achieve this feat in La Liga.
