Hansi-Dieter Flick

Barcelona head coach Hansi-Dieter Flick shared his thoughts after his team’s dominant 4-0 victory over Real Sociedad in La Liga’s Matchday 26, a result that propelled the Catalan club to the top of the Spanish league table.

Focused on Every Trophy

“I am not surprised by the way my team is performing. However, things can change very quickly, and it is crucial to stay focused,” said Flick.

“There is still a long way to go in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, but we always fight for every trophy. We want to compete for them all.”

Barcelona's Midfield Quality

“I wouldn’t say we have the best midfield in Europe or the world, but it is certainly at a very high level.”

Next Challenge: Benfica

“I don’t look too far ahead; I always focus on the next match. That is my approach. We are leading La Liga, and now our full attention is on Benfica.”

Barcelona will face Benfica away on Wednesday, March 5, in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.
