Athletic Bilbao put on a spectacular show in today's home match, demolishing Valladolid 7-1 to keep themselves firmly in the race for a top-three finish in La Liga.

The Basque side was in ruthless form, with goals from Alboniga, Sannadi, Sancet, Guruzeta, and Iñaki Williams, while Nico Williams added a brace to his name. Valladolid managed a consolation goal through Sylla Diallo in the 47th minute, but it was little more than a footnote in a match dominated by Athletic.
