Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been handed a two-match suspension in La Liga, ruling him out of crucial fixtures against Girona and Real Betis, reports AS.

According to the source, the RFEF appeals committee has rejected Real Madrid’s plea to overturn the Englishman's suspension.

Bellingham received a red card in the recent 1-1 draw against Osasuna after directing inappropriate language toward the referee.

So far this season, the 20-year-old has played 20 league matches, contributing seven goals and six assists for Los Blancos.
