Chelsea Keeps Mudryk in Europa Conference League Squad Despite Doping Scandal
Despite ongoing concerns surrounding his doping case, Chelsea has not withdrawn Mykhailo Mudryk from their squad for the knockout stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Mudryk's Impressive Form in Europe
The Ukrainian winger has been one of Chelsea’s standout performers in the competition, registering three goals and three assists in just four matches during the group stage.
Squad Changes for the Knockout Stage
Alongside Mudryk, Chelsea has also added Cole Palmer, Trevoh Chalobah, and Mathys Amougou to the squad for the knockout rounds. However, the club has removed Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia, both of whom are recovering from injuries.
Chelsea's Strong Position in the Tournament
The Blues dominated their group stage campaign, winning all six matches and finishing top of the table. As a result, Chelsea has bypassed the first knockout round and will enter the competition directly at the Round of 16 stage.
