The winter transfer window across Europe's top leagues officially closed at midnight today. The final deals have been made, with some hefty transfers, though most of the biggest moves had already been completed earlier in the window.

As a result, here's a rundown of the top January 2025 signings, all priced at €50 million or more:

1. Jhon Durán (from Aston Villa to Al-Nassr for €77 million)
2. Omar Marmoush (from Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester City for €75 million)
3. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (from Napoli to Paris Saint-Germain for €70 million)
4. Nico González (from Porto to Manchester City for €60 million)
5. Xavi Simons (from PSG to RB Leipzig for €50 million)
6. Galeno (from Porto to Al-Ahli for €50 million)

In addition, eight more transfers were made for €25 million and above. While this winter's transfer window lacked any earth-shattering surprises, it was far from the quietest one in recent years. For comparison, just a year ago, the most expensive deal was Gonçalo Ramos's move from Benfica to PSG for €65 million, and that was the only transfer over €50 million.
