Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich, according to BBC Sport.

The 19-year-old forward had initially rejected a move to Tottenham earlier this month. However, it now looks like he will make the switch to North London. Today, his agent Gadiri Kamara shared a photo on social media showing the pair on a private jet en route to the English capital.

Sources have told BBC Sport that Tel has now agreed to join Tottenham, although the specifics of the deal have yet to be confirmed. It remains unclear whether this will be a permanent transfer or a loan deal.

Interestingly, Manchester United had also been considered the front-runner for Tel's signature earlier in the transfer window.
