Aston Villa is racing against time to secure a loan deal for Manchester United forward

As the winter transfer window draws to a close on Monday, Aston Villa is racing against time to secure a loan deal for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The agreement, which would see the 27-year-old join Villa until the end of the current season, also includes an option to make the move permanent for £45 million, according to journalist Rudy Galetti.

This move marks the first time in his career that Rashford, a product of Manchester United’s academy, will leave the club. This season, the forward has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils.
