With their financial situation now stabilized, Barcelona has turned its attention to securing the futures of its star players. According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan giants have reached an agreement with midfield maestro Pedri to extend his contract until 2030.

While the deal is currently in a verbal agreement, all details have been finalized, and the official signing is expected to take place soon. This move underscores Barcelona’s commitment to building a team around its young talents, with Pedri being one of the cornerstones of their project.

Pedri, who joined Barcelona in 2019 from Las Palmas for €23 million, has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting midfielders in world football. Despite his young age, the 22-year-old has already become a key figure for both club and country, known for his vision, composure, and technical brilliance.

This season, Pedri has contributed 4 goals and 4 assists in 31 matches.
