Official: Kyle Walker Joins AC Milan
AC Milan has officially announced the signing of Kyle Walker, the England international and Manchester City defender. The 33-year-old right-back joins the Rossoneri on a free loan deal until the end of the 2024–2025 season, with an option to make the transfer permanent for €5 million.
According to Italian media reports, Milan and Walker have already agreed on a one-year contract extension, should the club decide to activate the buyout clause. The deal would see the Englishman earn approximately €4.5 million per season, a testament to his experience and quality at the highest level.
Walker, who is under contract with Manchester City until summer 2026, expressed his desire to play abroad before retiring. Earlier in the transfer window, he informed Pep Guardiola and the club of his wish to explore new challenges, paving the way for this move to Serie A.
This transfer marks AC Milan’s first signing of the January transfer window, as the Italian giants look to bolster their defensive options for the remainder of the season.
