City have announced the signing of Omar Marmoush

Manchester City have announced the signing of Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 25-year-old Egyptian striker has completed a move to the Etihad Stadium on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

Omar has maintained that impressive impact so far across the 2024/25 campaign. Prior to joining City Marmoush had accrued 20 goals from just 26 appearances for Frankfurt alongside 14 assists.

"This is a day I will never forget," Marmoush said.

"To sign for Manchester City – one of the best teams in the world – is an amazing feeling. I am delighted, my family are so proud, and we are all very happy to be here in Manchester.

With Pep, his technical staff and the world-class facilities here, players have everything they need to improve. That was really enticing for me when I had the chance to come here".

It was previously reported that City would pay about 80 million euros for the 25-year-old Egyptian striker. At the same time, the forward will earn 8 times more than he did in the Bundesliga.
