In the biggest match of the day in the FA Cup, the Red Devils beat the Gunners, playing most of the game with ten men.

Bruno Fernandes put MU ahead at the start of the second half, sending the ball into the net after a pass from Garnacho, but nine minutes later Ruben Amorim's team were left without a player as Diogo Dalot got a second yellow card. Arsenal instantly took advantage - in their next attack the hosts equalised thanks to Gabriel's shot and a deflection from a Man United player.

But the Gunners failed to score again. It was 26-year-old Red Devils' goalkeeper Altay Bayındır who became the hero of MU - the Turk played the best match of his career, helping his team survive until the penalty shoot-out, where the decisive shot from the spot was taken by Joshua Zirksee. The player, who was recently booed by MU fans, helped to get his team into the next round of the FA Cup.
