Brazilian football legend Ronaldo Nazário, famously known as "O Fenômeno," has officially submitted his candidacy for the upcoming elections to become president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

In his campaign, Ronaldo has vowed to unite Brazilian football, tackle corruption and match-fixing, and work tirelessly to improve the performance of Brazil's national team. Reports have also emerged suggesting that, if elected, Ronaldo will attempt to bring Pep Guardiola on board as the head coach of the Brazilian national team.

The elections are expected to take place by March 2026, when the current CBF president, Ednaldo Rodrigues, is set to step down. Ronaldo’s candidacy marks a significant moment for Brazilian football, as one of its most iconic figures seeks to lead the sport into a new era.
