Man City are accused of 130 violations of FFP rules
The hearing in the high-profile case of Manchester City's 115 breaches of Premier League financial fair play rules has concluded.
The commission is expected to announce its decision in the coming months, but both City and the Premier League will retain the right to appeal, so the final verdict may not even be delivered until the end of next season.
The Premier League brought charges against City back in February 2023, which the club rejected. On 16 September this year, a three-member independent panel began its review of the case in secrecy, hearing arguments from both sides. According to the Daily Mail, during the hearing, the number of offences rose from 115 to 130, and the time period in which they were allegedly committed from 8 to 14 years.
If City are proven guilty, Guardiola's team could face a wide range of penalties, including financial sanctions, points deduction and even exclusion from the Premier League.
