Los Angeles Galaxy - New York Red Bulls. - 2:1

LA Galaxy defeated New York Red Bulls in the final playoff match and became the MLS champions for the sixth time.

Galaxy laid the foundation of the victory in the debut of the match. Joseph Paintsil opened the scoring in the 9th minute when he converted a one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Just four minutes later, Dejan Joveljic made a solo run almost halfway across the pitch and hit a shot from under a defender to send the ball into the net.

Bulls defender Sean Nealis reduced the deficit in the 28th minute, but the New York team could not do more. 2:1 - victory of LA Galaxy, who won the MLS championship trophy for the sixth time.
