Real Madrid vs Barcelona

Real Madrid is gearing up for El Clásico this Saturday, but they’ll be without several key players as injuries continue to take a toll. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad was notably missing Rodrygo, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, and Thibaut Courtois in their latest training session, prompting Ancelotti to call up reinforcements from Castilla.

Courtois’ absence is especially significant. The Belgian keeper suffered his second injury of the season against Borussia Dortmund, leaving him sidelined indefinitely. With Courtois out, Andriy Lunin is preparing to step in as Madrid’s last line of defense against Barcelona.

There’s a glimmer of good news, however, as Brahim Díaz has rejoined the squad in full training, offering Ancelotti an extra option ahead of one of the season’s most anticipated fixtures.
