Camp Nou want to host Finalissima 2024
The Spanish press has shared its information about where the match for the title of the best national team of the planet - Finalissima - may take place.
This game is played between the reigning champions of Europe and South America. In 2022, the winner of the first ever Finalissima was Argentina, who defeated Italy 3-0.
According to Football Espana, FIFA is now struggling to find the right date for the next Finalissima match, which will take place between Euro 2024 winners Spain and Copa America 2024 champions Argentina. The ga,e is expected to take place in March 2026 due to the busy schedule of matches in 2025 when it was due to take place.
As for the venue, Spain could get home-pitch advantage. According to Argentine journalist German Carrara, Barcelona have suggested that the recently renovated Camp Nou stadium could be the venue for the 2024 Finalissima.
