Official: Napoli signs Romelu Lukaku
Napoli have officially announced the signing of Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
The Italian side paid Chelsea a fee of around 30 million pounds plus a 30% sell-on fee in order to secure the Belgian’s services. Lukaku's deal will run until the summer of 2027 and is set to earn him an annual salary of around €8m per season after taxes, according to Calciomercato.com.
As is customary with Napoli transfers, club President Aurelio De Laurentiis was the first to announce the news.
Napoli will be the third Italian club that Romelu has played for, following his two stints with Inter and his loan spell with Roma in 2023-24.
