Dani Olmo, Cody Gakpo, Georges Mikautadze, Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Ivan Schranz

The Euro 2024 Golden Boot, according to the new UEFA rules, will be awarded to six players: Dani Olmo, Cody Gakpo, Georges Mikautadze, Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Ivan Schranz. All of the players listed have scored three goals.

This situation became possible due to the adjustment of one UEFA rule that was previously in force. Previously, if there was a tie in goals scored, the top scorer award was taken by the player who gave the most assists. At the last Euro, Cristiano Ronaldo and Patrik Schick each had five goals, but the Portuguese striker had more assists and won the prize.

If the old rule had been in effect, the Golden Boot would have been awarded to Olmo, who had two assists, more than any of his competitors.
