Ukraine national team midfielder Heorhiy Sudakov gave an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport before the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy.

This match is decisive for Serhiy Rebrov's team in the fight for ticket to the continental championship. Ukraine are currently second in Group C, three points ahead of the Italians, but Spalletti's side has one more game to play.

"Italy are very strong, they are the reigning European champions, I have great respect, - said Sudakov. - But we will fight to win and do our best. Then beating Italy and qualifying for the Euro is our dream. After peace, obviously.”

Euro 2024 qualifying match between Ukraine and Italy will take place on Monday, November 20, in Leverkusen, Germany.
