Newcastle added the Brazilian midfielder of Fenerbahce Fred to the list of candidates to replace the Sandro Tonali, reports Fotomac.
Italian national team player has been disqualified for ten months in connection with a betting case.
Former Shakhtar player Fred played 13 matches for Fenerbahçe this season, scoring five assists. The Brazilian has extensive experience in the Premier League, having played for Manchester United for five seasons (213 matches, 14 goals).
