With a match against Germany the Ukrainian youth team (U-17) completed the fight in the qualifying round of Euro 2024.

To qualify for the next round, Volodymyr Yezerskyi's players needed a draw, but the Ukrainians lost to Germans - 0:1. The only goal of the game was scored by Izekor's header after a cross from Cerny.

The fate of the Ukrainians depends on the match between Finland and Liechtenstein. If the Finns win, the Ukrainian team will take third place and will wait for the results in other groups. Among the third teams, the five best will advance.
