Report: Brentford edge closer to buying Mudryk from Shakhtar

Ukrainian ournalist Igor Tsyganyk reports that Brentford have stepped up their efforts to sign Shakhtar winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.

"Bayer has slowed down in the negotiations process and is no longer a favorite to sign the player, - says Tsyganyk. - Despite Mudryk's dream of playing in the Champions League, Brentford are very persistent in their negotiations and are seriously considering buying the player.

Now Mudryk is ready to accept the proposal of the English club. The negotiation process continues - Shakhtar really needs money, because there is not enough current funding from the investor. I predict that Mudryk will be the only Ukrainian player to leave the club this summer".
