Neither Adama Traoré nor Luuk de Jong will be continuing at FC Barcelona.

The two players have both been at the club on loan deals until June 30 and will now be returning to their respective teams.

Adama Traoré returned to Barça on January 29 of this year from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and was presented on February 2. Having grown up at La Masia, spending eight years in the youth system, this was a homecoming for the lightning-quick winger, who played 826 minutes across 21 games in 2021/22, ten of those as a starter.

Luuk de Jong was the final addition to the squad last summer, with Ronald Koeman still on the bench. Arriving on a loan deal from Sevilla, the Dutchman played 938 minutes of football for Barça across 29 games, ten of those as a starter. With a goal every 134 minutes, he became the archetypical super-sub for the team, and helped to make Barça a much stronger side in the air.
