The third round of the UEFA Europa League has reduced the number of teams with perfect records to just five. Juventus dropped points for the first time after being held to a 2-2 home draw by Rennes, falling away from the group of sides that have won all their matches so far.

Lyon, managed by Paulo Fonseca, also suffered their first setback of the campaign. The French side were thrashed 3-0 away by Hoffenheim, bringing their winning run to an abrupt end.

However, the headline result of the day belonged to Bournemouth, who delivered a stunning 3-0 victory over AC Milan.
