The Parisian chainsaw massacre: Barcelona lodge UEFA complaint over provocative banner

Barcelona are preparing to file an official complaint to UEFA following their 4-2 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain on matchday three of the Champions League league phase, according to reports from Sport.es. The catalyst for the Catalan club's protest is an inflammatory display unveiled by home supporters moments before kick-off at the Parc des Princes.
Officials from the Spanish side took severe exception to a massive tifo depicting Leatherface, the notorious slasher villain from *The Texas Chain Saw Massacre*. The PSG ultras portrayed the character donning a Paris shirt while brandishing a chainsaw slicing directly through the Barcelona crest, accompanied by the slogan: "The Parisian Massacre."
Metaphorically, the gruesome artwork proved an accurate premonition of events on the pitch, with PSG tearing through their opponents with a devastating late flurry. For Barcelona, however, the humiliation on the field has only deepened the lingering sting of what they perceive as an unacceptable provocation off it.
