Fenerbahce threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League, as a costly error from Matteo Guendouzi helped the Czech side fight back before snatching a dramatic equaliser in the closing moments.

The Istanbul giants made a flying start, with Aydin and Mason Greenwood finding the net to put the Yellow Canaries firmly in control at 2-0. With their opponents struggling to respond, Fenerbahce appeared well on course to claim a valuable victory in the European competition.

However, the game turned after a costly mistake from Guendouzi near his own penalty area gifted Slavia Prague a route back into the contest. The Czech visitors seized the opportunity, building momentum and taking control of the match after the interval.

Slavia Prague continued to push for an equaliser and were rewarded in dramatic fashion in the final minute. Substitute Kachor met a cross from the flank and finished to make it 2-2, stunning the home side and denying Fenerbahce what had looked like a certain three points.
