The Portuguese Football Federation’s (FPF) disciplinary committee has formally sanctioned Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo following his unauthorized departure from the national team camp during the previous international break.
The Seleção captain was found guilty of breaching internal squad protocols after walking out of the team hotel in Denmark on the eve of their fixture. The veteran forward has been handed a 30-day suspension alongside a largely symbolic fine of €255—an amount the five-time Ballon d'Or winner effectively earns in a matter of seconds under his lucrative club terms.
The disciplinary measure will not impact the forward's availability for Portugal’s upcoming November fixtures against Denmark and Wales, as the one-month ban is scheduled to expire before the squad reconvenes for the next international window.
