Brentford - Liverpool 1:2

Liverpool battled to a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory away to Brentford in a dramatic Premier League clash featuring two red cards. Goals from Daniel Munoz and Alexander Isak secured the points for Andoni Iraola's side after the hosts had threatened to frustrate the visitors.

The first half was evenly contested, but the closing moments brought two major incidents involving Ukrainian midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk. In the 44th minute, he set up Lewis-Potter to give Brentford the lead. Just a minute later, however, Yarmolyuk was sent off after a challenge on Jacquet, leaving his team to face the second half with ten men.

Despite their numerical advantage, Liverpool struggled to take control of the game. Their breakthrough came in the 62nd minute, when Florian Wirtz played a perfectly timed pass into space for Daniel Munoz. The Spaniard surged into the penalty area, cut inside and finished to bring the visitors level.

Liverpool continued to push for a winner, and Alexander Isak eventually delivered. After failing to convert a one-on-one opportunity earlier, Bradley Barcola made amends by providing the assist for Isak to fire home the decisive goal and complete the comeback.
