Official: Mikel Arteta Signs New Arsenal Contract Until 2030

Arsenal have officially announced a new contract for head coach Mikel Arteta, keeping the Spaniard at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2030.
Under the terms of the new deal, Arteta will become the highest-paid manager in the Premier League. The 44-year-old is set to earn £17 million per year, with the potential to receive a further £3 million in performance-related bonuses.
“It is a privilege to commit my future to this club and to continue working with exceptional people who want the very best for Arsenal. This club is unique – its character and the feelings it creates. I feel incredibly privileged that our journey together will continue,” Arteta said.
Arteta took charge of Arsenal in December 2019. During his first season, he guided the Gunners to FA Cup glory, before delivering the club's long-awaited Premier League title in 2026, ending a 22-year wait for the championship.
