Rennes - PSG 2:2

Paris Saint-Germain avoided a costly defeat at Rennes after a dramatic second-half comeback saw Ferran Torres score twice to rescue a 2-2 draw. The visitors looked set for a miserable night after falling two goals behind before half-time.

Rennes took the lead through Szymanski, whose precise finish put the hosts in front. Lepaul then doubled the advantage after a well-worked move involving Al-Tamari and Frankowski, leaving PSG facing a major uphill battle.

The game changed after the interval, with the changes made by PSG manager proving decisive. Substitute Ferran Torres immediately added a new dimension to the attack and pulled one goal back in the 71st minute, racing through to beat the goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation.

The comeback was completed eight minutes from time. Ferran Torres rose highest to head home another pinpoint delivery from Fabian Ruiz, completing a crucial brace and sparking celebrations among the travelling supporters.

PSG dominated the second half and completely shifted the momentum in their favour, but ultimately had to settle for a point. Ukrainian defender Illia Zabarnyi remained an unused substitute throughout the match.
