The UEFA Europa League qualifying campaign kicked off on Thursday with six entertaining fixtures, delivering plenty of talking points as clubs across Europe took their first steps towards the group stage.

Experienced European campaigners Qarabag FK produced one of the standout performances of the evening, cruising to a convincing 3-0 victory over Vestri. Ukrainian winger Oleksii Kashchuk played his part in the dominant display by providing an assist as the Azerbaijani champions took firm control of the tie.

The only away victory of the night came courtesy of Ferencváros, who secured an important result on the road by defeating Vojvodina, giving the Hungarian side a valuable advantage ahead of the return leg.
