Zambia - Comoros 0:0

The Africa Cup of Nations 2025 witnessed its first goalless draw on Friday evening as Zambia and Comoros played out a tense 0-0 stalemate at the iconic Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.

Despite flashes of attacking intent from both sides, neither team was able to find a breakthrough over 90 minutes and stoppage time. Zambia enjoyed longer spells of possession and looked more threatening in phases, but Comoros stayed compact, disciplined and resilient, earning a valuable point on one of African football’s biggest stages.

As things stand in Group A, Zambia sit third with two points after two matches, while Comoros remain fourth with one point to their name. Crucially, both nations still have a realistic pathway to the knockout stages heading into the decisive final round of group fixtures.
