This triumph marks Flamengo’s fourth Copa Libertadores title

Jorge Carrascal, once a key figure at Karpaty Lviv, has reached the pinnacle of South American football after lifting the Copa Libertadores with Flamengo. The Brazilian giants edged Palmeiras 1–0 in a tense final to claim the continent’s most prestigious club trophy.

The only goal of the match came from a perfectly executed corner. Danilo rose above the defence and powered a header off the post and into the net, sealing Flamengo’s victory and sending their supporters into celebration.

This triumph marks Flamengo’s fourth Copa Libertadores title, making them the most decorated Brazilian club in the competition’s history. Had Palmeiras won, they too would have celebrated a fourth championship. The all-time record, however, still belongs to Argentina’s iconic Independiente, who remain unmatched with seven Libertadores trophies.
