Ukraine’s IT industry continues to generate billions in budget revenues and strengthen national defense

Ukrainian IT company FAVBET Tech has ranked among the Top 5 largest taxpayers in the Diia.City ecosystem based on the results of the first three quarters of 2025. During this period, the company contributed over ₴650 million in taxes to the state budget.

FAVBET Tech has been a Diia.City resident since 2022 and consistently increases its payments to the national budget. The tax discipline of the IT sector not only supports the industry’s growth but also reinforces economic stability, social programs, and the country’s defense capability,” said Artem Skrypnyk, CEO of FAVBET Tech.

Since the launch of Diia.City, its residents have paid more than ₴53 billion in taxes. In just the first three quarters of 2025, over ₴22 billion entered the state budget — 22% more than during the entire previous year. The ecosystem now unites nearly 2,900 tech companies employing around 130,000 IT professionals, which represents over 80% of Ukraine’s tech sector.

Alongside its core operations, FAVBET Tech continues to invest in defense-focused R\&D projects. The company develops FPV drone systems that are supplied to military units for reconnaissance and strike missions. Its specialists are also working on AI-powered intelligence analysis platforms that enhance the speed and accuracy of target identification on the battlefield.

Another strategic focus is training troops to counter enemy UAVs. FAVBET Tech cooperates with air assault forces, supports the delivery of anti-drone rifles, and contributes to the creation of simulation systems for identifying and neutralizing hostile drones.

The company has also partnered with the CyberPolk NGO on cybersecurity initiatives and supported the expansion of the Dronarnia engineering school, which doubled its capacity to train soldiers in drone assembly and repair.

In 2025, FAVBET Tech was listed among the Top 50 IT Companies in Ukraine by DOU and partnered with major industry events such as Forbes AI Day 2025 in Kyiv, IT Arena 2025 in Lviv, and quarterly Diia.City Union meetups.

According to Artem Skrypnyk, FAVBET Tech’s long-term mission remains sustainable growth, support for an innovative economy, and strengthening Ukraine’s technological edge in the security and defense sectors.
