Lando Norris delivered a flawless performance at the Mexican Grand Prix, converting pole position into a commanding race victory and seizing the lead in the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship. Charles Leclerc finished second for Ferrari, his podium aided by a timely Virtual Safety Car that prevented Max Verstappen from launching a late attack in the final laps. Verstappen ultimately settled for third after a hard-fought race that saw strategy and tire management play a crucial role.

The standout story of the day, however, was 20-year-old Ollie Bearman from Haas, who produced the drive of his young career to finish fourth — his best-ever result in Formula 1.
