Denmark - Greece 3:1

Denmark reclaimed the lead in Group C of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers with an impressive 3–1 victory over Greece in front of a home crowd in Copenhagen.

Rasmus Højlund capitalized on a defensive error to open the scoring in the 21st minute, giving the hosts a deserved lead. Just before half-time, Joachim Andersen and Mikkel Damsgaard struck in quick succession (40’ and 41’) to put Denmark 3–0 up and firmly in control.

Greece managed a consolation goal in the 63rd minute through Christos Tzolis, but it wasn’t enough to mount a serious comeback.
