In a high-paced pre-season friendly, Spanish surprise package Girona FC faced off against Serie A champions SSC Napoli, with the Italians edging out a narrow 3–2 victory.

Ukrainian winger Viktor Tsyhankov played the full 90 minutes and delivered an assist in an impressive individual display. His compatriot, 19-year-old goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvtsov, entered the pitch in the 64th minute and kept a clean sheet during his time on the field.

The match, however, was lit up by standout performances from Kevin De Bruyne and Cristian Stuani, each scoring a brace in an exciting five-goal contest that showcased attacking flair from both sides.
